The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
